Nicole Kersting, Attorney-At-Law
Ms. Kersting grew up in Northern Kentucky, just south of Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Louisville in 2004 to attend the University of Louisville, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, with minors in English and Marketing. She then continued on to earn her law degree from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
While in law school Ms. Kersting was a student attorney, representing victims of domestic violence, through the University of Louisville Law Clinic. During that time, she developed a passion for representing her clients and fighting for their rights.
Ms. Kersting has extensive experience helping gay and lesbian couples and the LGBTQ community protect their rights and their families.
Ms. Kersting is a founding member of Durrett & Kersting. She and Ms. Durrett founded the firm based on their mutual dedication to zealous and ethical representation of their clients. Ms. Kersting, and the firm represent clients with legal issues in family, criminal and civil court.
